It was quite sad leaving this beautiful place behind, but it was time to head back to Johannesburg to catch our flights.
After we had a freshly grounded cup of coffee and said our goodbyes, we made our way down the same dirt road to get to the main road. From here, we tried to hitchike, but no one was stopping. Not long after, the local bus stopped to pick us up! We were getting a little worried that we would miss the bus to Joburg! We got dropped off at the bus station in Mbabane and from here we caught the local bus. Surprisingly, there were two options. One bus takes you all the way to O.R.Tambo Airport, while the other one drops you off at the bus station in the city.
We opted for the city option, which costs R210 each. The bus left Mbabane around 10am and got to Johannesburg at 3pm. This also included a massive border line-up getting back into South Africa, since it was a long-weekend. This seems to be the most cost-efficient option. Once we got to the bus station, we got managed to get an Uber. Warning: This is not the safest bus station. If you find yourself here, be careful and be smart!
