Day 145-Girls Who Brunch

Cape Town

Brunch, coffee, hair appointment, dinner. Today was definitely a “city girl” kind of day.

Clarke’s Bar & Dining Room: Hidden little gem on Bree Street. An amazing spot for brunch! Prices are very reasonable. The hash eggs and Nutella stuffed egg baked croissant with bourbon bananas and strawberries were divine! Need I say more?

Haas Coffee Shop: Specializing in exotic single-origin coffees, the new location on Buitenkant is perfect for any coffee lover! The dark and artsy decor has a touch of modern sophistication. Will definitely be coming back to this place!

Truth Coffee HQ: Back to our usual afternoon spot, the Truth Coffee HQ on Buitenkant. They are starting to recognize us here but everyone’s gotta have a favorite coffee shop! They’ve got a steampunk theme going on here, from the decor to the dressed up waiters. Very cool vibe! Plus, free WiFi for the first hour, then it’s $5 for 1GB for those digital nomads and freelancers.

Boy Girl Hair Salon: A hidden home salon in Observatory, run by Günter Theiss. Expect to spend a few hours here as him and his assistance will take their time from cut to colour.

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant: Strawberry margaritas, nachos, and seafood enchiladas! Great cozy little Mexican restaurant in Observatory. Perfect place for catch up with friends while sipping away on margaritas.

Oh, the city life!

“Today you are you. That is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.” -Dr Suess
