Day 107-Indonesia

Candidasa, Bali

[Waterfront view at Gadung Ghandi Ashram]

My last and final day in Bali. We spent the day up the East Coast in Candidasa visiting a beautiful property, Gadung Ghandi Ashram. It only seemed appropriate that we would visit an ashram dedicated to Gandhi to mark the end of my time in Bali. It’s the perfect place to spend your afternoon, while reading a book or sipping on a coconut. After a few hours of bliss, we made it back to Nusa Dua for one final home cooked Balinese meal at Sue’s house. We enjoyed the rest of our evening on the rooftop watching flashes of lightning brighten up the sky. What a perfect ending to another chapter!

“How simple it is to see that we can only be happy now, and there will never be a time when it is not now” -Gerald Jampolsky
