Day 102-Indonesia

Nusa Dua, Bali

[Homemade Gado Gado]

Why eat out when you can learn how to cook your favourite Balianese dish from a local?

Spending time in Sue’s kitchen was definitely a highlight as she taught us how to make Gado Gado, a popular dish in Bali. Although it can be found at most restaurants, it really doesn’t compare to Sue’s recipe! It could be because she was once known in Vancouver for her renowned restaurant, Bali House, or maybe because she added a touch of love! Nevertheless, it only took a few simple ingredients from her garden to stimulate our taste buds!
