Day 60-Cambodia

[MIC Made in Cambodia Poster]

Realizing I’m not meant to leave Cambodia just yet, I put my time to good use and helped Dao promote their upcoming event, MIC Made in Cambodia.

With the support of many local businesses and a record label, Dao of Life has organized it’s 3rd urban arts festival, featuring beatbox battles, live street art, skate & BMX demos, dance performances.. all local talent!

Successful events involve teamwork and the help of others. I can’t even count how many times I’ve asked close friends and family to help cut and flyer posters, pick up equipment, wrap swag bags, build, paint, basically any task that needs to get done! This was my chance to give back. I was happy to help Dao with whatever they needed as the event was only a few days away. Dropping off posters to sponsors actually allowed me to meet a lot of expats and business owners, which made it a great day!
